Bromeliads make wonderful indoor plants.  They are easy to care for and have very few problems with pests.

Plant Care

LIGHT - Bromeliads prefer a well-lit area out of direct sun.

TEMPERATURE - Bromeliads do best in temperatures between 55 and 80 degrees.

FERTILIZE - Use a liquid fertilizer at 1/2 or 1/4 strength during the growing season.

WATER - Bromeliads will tolerate dry conditions.  In general, water plants thoroughly during the growing season and reduce watering during the winter when the plants are resting.
